Health insurance & fertility question!

Hi guys thanks for coming! I was just looking at health insurance bc hubs and I have been trying for 2 yrs with tracking and 3 yrs prior no prevention(it happens it happens type of thing) and I would love to make a appt at the gyno for fertility testing for hormones ect.

The insurance I was looking at has a 400 ded.

Did you have to pay up front for these test or could you make payments? I’ve never had to go to the drs since 2016 and never been on my own insurance before so I’m just not sure how this works thank you !
