Ovulating w/ one tube

Silly question but here goes!!! I have a tube that is completely blocked. Now there is concern it could be building up fluid and impacting egg quality. (At least I think that’s what they said.) I had never considered removing it bc we are pursuing ivf. But silly question... if that tube is removed, what happens to the eggs that are ovulated from that side?! Do they just get reabsorbed in the body or does the other tube somehow pick them up? I’m saying from a natural conception/ovulation perspective not IVF. Just wondering!
