Let's talk about Kentucky

In Kentucky, a white man named Cane Madden has been released and not charged with the rape of an 8 year old black girl and fracturing her skull with a shovel. Madden has been declared mental incompetent for several cases before this one including a case in 2017 where he sexually assaulted a woman and bit a part of her face. Cane Madden assaulted the young child after he found her playing outside her home he was charged with first degree rape, assault and robbery because he stole her iPad. A psychiatrist said he suffers from profound mental issues including social incompetence, intermittent explosive disorder, brief psychotic disorder, learning disorder and PTSD as a result from being abused as a child, he once smeared shit on the wall of a hospital and said he wanted to rape women and harm animals and children. The state of Kentucky has declared madden incompetent to stand trial however not incompetent enough for involuntary hospitalization because he doesn't meet the criteria. The criteria for involuntary hospitalization is

1. The person must be deemed a danger to himself and others

2. The person is expected to benefit from treatment

3. Hospitalization is the least restrictive treatment available

The judge Annie O' Connell(a white female) has freed him in the past for his crimes because he is mentally incompetent to stand trial but not incompetent to receive help. He has been let go again and this post isn't about his white privilege and how white people can have mental illnesses while black people can't, this post isn't about how as a white man he is free and black people have been given life sentences for less and this post definitely is not about the piece of shit we call the Justice system no this post is about the 8 year old girl with a fractured skull who has to watch her rapist go free she has to watch the man who stole her innocence go away this is for the girl who mother has to explain to her that her body and Justice doesn't matter this is for her
