Going to the doctor but just wanted your opinion

I feel like I may have bladder infection. I can feel irritation at the tip of my urethra but I don't have the urges to pee or any burning pain. I have been peeing small amounts like two teaspoons full but that's just guessing.

I also have overactive bladder and interstitial cytisis. I know overactive bladder has the same symptoms as bladder infection. I have been drinking water all day today to flush my bladder. My urine isn't hard,just pale yellow.

I really don't won't to go to the doctor if I don't won't to,but I feel like if I go and they test me and everything is fine,then I will feel like a fool making a trip to the doctor for nothing especially having to wait forever to see the doctor.

My husband and I had sex last Sunday and of course he used scented lotion to lubricate me down there and I think this is when all of this came about and plus I was having trouble peeing after sex. I just hope I don't have infection! What do you think?
