Should I try shrooms?

Are shrooms dangerous? I would like to try it because I heard from others that it has changed their perspective in life and has made them happier, I use weed but never tried anything else including shrooms.Do you think its safe to try?

Shrooms are not dangerous themselves but I highly recommend having someone to guide you through your trip. Someone who you trust. And being in a safe place.

A few years ago I was at a get together, there were 5 of us and we watched my friend on shrooms, he had taken them a few times before and he was trying to convince me and another friend that it was safe. Unfortunately he had a bad trip. 
He was fine at first, he was laughing about it and it honestly didn’t seem that bad but then after about 30mins the hallucinations got out of control really fast. 
He got angry/scared. He smashed his tv in thinking a sports news reporter was an evil dragon, after that he went quiet. He was in his own little world and we started to clear up the broken parts. He suddenly got up saying he wanted eggs. He went to the fridge for eggs and could seem to open the door: he then got angry and tipped the entire thing over as he said the door wasn’t opening and he needed eggs. He burst into tears and kept saying eggs would stop them from hurting him. He started wailing loudly saying they would hurt him because he had no eggs then he smacked another friend across the face and accused him of bringing “them” to the house. We asked him who them were and he said “the rabbits!” He then got really twitchy and agitated N paced about for a few minutes before sitting in a corner singing a weird kinda nursery rhyme type song and saying its safe now its safe. When he came round he was so apologetic. He honestly thought it was real. 
Anyways. Shrooms hallucinations can be quite unpredictable depending on their strength and how you take them. It’s nothing like smoking weed.

Before pregnancy of course I was an everyday weed smoker and I did a lot of shrooms lol shrooms are the best psychedelic you can ever use especially if you feel in a rut in life. My creative block vanished. My bad thoughts vanished. You feel so light so free and you nonstop smile! Just like weed it comes from the earth, well part of the earth(cow dung) lol and it’s safe. That’s what kept my mind okay. Now going into them its OKAY to feel nervous!!! You are in total control of your trip! It lasts for a few hours and if you can go outside! I loved to swim on shrooms and the trees and grass changed all sorts of colors! Stay away from dark rooms, no mirrors the longer you stare the scarier your face looks(trust me lol). Shrooms will always be something I’ll miss now that I’m a mommy but I’ll never stop recommending them for people! Be in a safe place, people you’re comfortable around, and just relax! Have fun and don’t overthink.

I can't say they're dangerous. I did for a month, just something to try and it was amazing😮. It calmed me to a point where I was super relaxed. However, they are times if you take enough, I could see prisms all over the place. Never exceed 5g, unless you want to hallucinate😅. I started with .5 a gram, then increased up to 3.5 grams. I watched a video of a girl who did all 5g and she spent most of the time playing with someone who her boyfriend couldn't see🐵🙈🙉🙊 awesome, but I'm waiting to do that.

I tried shrooms for the first time a few weeks ago and had an AMAZING trip. I took a smaller dose and didn't hallucinate at all. I was with friends who were experienced, and only 2 of the 4 of us were actually on shrooms. They drove us around to different nature trails and we just had a good time hanging out and experiencing nature while tripping and it was the best experience. I was giggly, happy, and it was one of the best days ever. I ate a total of 1.5 shrooms with the stem. I'm 5'9, 130lbs and I have a high alcohol tolerance if that means anything. Do not take a lot on your first try, ease yourself into it and slowly increase the dose once you know how it affects you the first time.
Be with people you ACTUALLY TRUST!!! I was with very close friends who made sure I was safe and comfortable. They were experienced with shrooms themselves and gave me advice beforehand. I was prepared and had a very nice day. I plan on taking a hallucinogenic dose next time with the same friends in a month or so. Never start out taking a hallucinogenic dose.

They’re not dangerous but I would 100% not do them. Back in my party days nobody informed me not to mix shrooms and alcohol and I lost some friends that night 😅

As far as being physically dangerous, they are not going to harm your body. You may vomit, but that’s about it. ￼The issue is that some people do respond negatively to them psychologically. If you do respond negatively to the shrooms (usually if you take too much or are in a negative mind space this is more likely to happen) you could go into a psychosis and you could do something to endanger yourself.￼ I think that’s where most of the danger lies in taking any psychedelic. ￼So if you’re going to do it, I would recommend starting out with a small amount, and be with people you trust who can help guide you. If you don’t overdo it, and keep an open positive mindset, you will be OK and it could be fun. Should you try it or not though, that’s a very personal question. You’ll know when you’re ready.￼￼

If you have a firm control of where your mind goes, and can avoid negative thoughts, it might be fun... Maybe.
The one time I tried them years ago I had a HORRIBLE trip, I cried so much I thought my face was melting, only thought about bad things, and vomited twice. The hangover is also rough. 
I was in a supportive place with my best friends (who all had a good time), but psychedelics are not for me.

I dabbled with various types of drugs in my early 20s only ever did shrooms once. I think from the general consensus is shrooms are safe vs. other drugs. At least health risk wise. I don't think I did that much or not a great kind or whatever (not too educated on taking shrooms. I wouldn't say it was like a "trip" more like a light high for me. I mostly only remember like more vivid colors and light in general seemed brighter slight visual distortion (just like around the edges of things). I'd probably consider doing it again but just never even came up. I rarely ever even smoke weed anymore as even one or 2 hits will have me stoned beyond being able to function it really isn't fun haha.
