Crawling?

Question

Just curious if your babies are starting to crawl in any form yet. (Army crawl, hand and knees crawl, etc) my guy will be 8 months old this week and not even attempting to crawl. I know they all do it on their own time - it’s hard not to compare cause our first son was crawling for two months already at 8 months. Everyone keeps telling me our second will be advanced with things after watching his older brother move around but that doesn’t seem to be true.

Definitely not crawling..he can maintain the stance if we put him in it, and even rocks back and forth a bit. But he doesn’t hold it for all that long (maybe a minute) and the one time he did try to move a leg, he fell on his face 😬😆 but he doesn’t put himself in the stance at all. He’s JUST starting to be ok with being on his tummy for any length of time. He sits up really well and rolls back and forth all the time tho 🤷🏼‍♀️

My little one is 7,5 month and does army crawling,but doesn't like to be in proper crawling position on her arms and knees...she loves to be held in standing position and even tries to put little steps towards something...she doesn't sit up on her own but can sit still on her own for long periods of time...doesn't do rolling from tummy to her back...still in lots of working progress🤔😅😅😅

My son has just been holding planks every so often whilst he plays on the floor. He manages to manoeuvre on the ground somehow but it's not my any form a crawl. He's my first so I can't even tell you if this is him being close to crawling or if we still have a long journey ahead.

I think we will skip crawling lol my son hates being on his stomach and rolls over every time we try. He loves to stand and tries to walk when we stand him up. He can sit up for a little while on his own. He will be 7 months tomorrow. He was born a week before his due date as a scheduled C Section so he could’ve cooked a little longer 😂 The doctor isn’t concerned.

My second is almost crawling at 7.5 months and my first didn’t crawl till almost a year. And I wouldn’t worry about first born/second born stuff. I’ve had multiple friends whose 2nd babies didn’t do anything “faster” from watching their siblings.

My daughter has been in the booty up inch worm phase FOREVR. Now she gets up on her tippy toes in that position. It’s like she’s doing push ups. I guess they all get there in time.

No forms of crawling, no sitting up, only rolling across the room at this point. He turned 7mon on the 21st.

My son is almost 7mo.has done the army crawl from Christmas, so about 4 months. He is not interested in crawling on hands and knees (that is an important milestone for muscle developement 😕). He is really fast also. If he sees dads office (he is remote working) door open, he vrawls there faster than I can go. 
He just started to pull himself up on couch edge. That is a nightmare. He just falls back. Have to be there catching all the time. He just has really powerful arms, but legs are softer. 😂
But he can not go to a sitting position and can not keep sitting by his own.
