Need some advice

Been married for almost 6 years. Had totally trust in my husband as it relates to other women because he simply didn’t give me a reason not to trust him

Sure enough, oct 2020 I get an inbox message from a man of my husband exchanging messages with his girlfriend. They all went to high school together. The conversation stemmed back for months and months. Maybe even years on and off. Talking about how much he loves her toes. Pictures of her toes. Asking for breakfast in exchange for rubbing her toes. Heart eyes at her toes. It was so gross.

He claims it’s been a joke between them two since hs. But he apologized because it was not right. Trust was lost. But he claimed he would work to get my trust back.

Since then, I’ve began to notice things I never noticed before. Like, every time he gets moved to a new team at work, the girls he work with always end up with his number. And they are literally texting daily. Not just work conversation but just casually talking. Personal topics but not really inappropriate stuff but I absolutely hate it.

I brought it to his attention that it makes me extremely uncomfortable and it reminds me directly of what happened in October.

He said, it’s just work stuff. If you can’t handle the fact that I talk to my co workers, idk what to tell you. And then ended the conversation saying, he doesn’t have to prove anything to me.

And has been ignoring me for days, following this conversation.

Is it just me or is this the definition of manipulation and narcissistic behavior? Or am I over exaggerating

UPDATE: he was able to figure out the code to my iPad or something because he went through all of my stuff, Facebook, messages, to be able to have something to throw in my face when we talked.
