If you had an uncomplicated birth recently, how long was your hospital stay?

Wondering bc it’s literally just my husband and I. We have no other support people to help us with the dogs at home. Guess I’m gonna have to hire someone.
Hospital only allows 1 visitor and he’s not allowed to leave at all during the entire stay.

I had regular birth and was in the hospital for 48 hours, because my labor ended at 23 hours the same day I went into labor counted as one hospital day. I went into labor and gave birth on March 25, left the hospital March 26

My hospital allowing two adults and there is no restriction for staying there... my husband can go and come anytime... i asked them 100 times this bcz i have kid and she will b in daycare or school.Ask them once again...

I was able to be discharged on the morning of the 3rd day. So two full days.

My hospital allows 48 hours if all goes well but they will discharge after 24 hours if mom & baby are doing well.

Here it’s 24 hour for vaginal 48 for c section because of covid, if baby is admitted to nicu mom still discharged. My husband is allowed to come and go though thankfully so will be able to check on my other 2 kids periodically and come back to help me as I am having my 3rd c section.

My dr told me today 24 hours but if they’re monitoring something with you or baby 48. I just asked they should have a general idea at your next appointment. But my hospital seems more lenient though because my husband can leave if he needs to. So i think it just depends unfortunately.
