9.5 month old started daycare
Does anyone have experience with their older baby starting daycare after being at home 24/7 with both parents? I know these are very unique times with COVID, and my 9.5 month old has been at home with my hubby and I both every day of her life as we’ve worked from home full-time since last March. We started part-time daycare this week, MTW, and it has went so much better than expected! But, my baby who is still exclusively breastfed, plus solids, hasn’t taken much milk while at daycare. She’s only taken 7 oz total between 8-4:30 each day she’s been there. Has anyone had a similar experience? I assume she’s just overwhelmed with a new environment, being away from me, taking more bottles than she’s used to, being distracted by the other kiddos, etc. Any thoughts or advice? Should I just wait it out and let her adjust and not worry? TIA!!
