Genes are actually weird as F!!!

Since having my daughter, I’ve been shocked at how my genes are.

Firstly, my mother and her family are English and have peachy skin with blue eyes... you get the picture.

My father is Turkish and has green eyes but olive skin.

Me myself has olive skin but brown eyes and I’m even darker then my father. BUT I have a small nose, mums face shape etc.

My daughter who is also half English half Turkish has very light skin, blue eyes, but she hasn’t got my little nose etc.

So I look more like my fathers side but with my English features.

My daughter looks very English but with Turkish features other then her skin colour and eyes. Deffo from my mum.

This is weird how genes are!!!

I didn’t realise how common it is for two brown eyes parents (me and my partner) can have a blue eyed baby. Although if you look back at the genes 93% of my family have blue eyes so it makes sense?!
