Ear infection or cold?

Hi all, so my little Bub is 8 weeks old and has had a cough, snotty nose, red and watery eyes, sneezing and has been grabbing at the side of his head/ear just on the one side.

I had a phone appointment two days ago with GP about Covid which he didn’t suspect as we are currently having a lockdown atm in Australia QLD due to cases.

My Bub slept better last night and he is still his usual happy self majority of the time I’m just wondering if it could be a possible ear infection? He hasn’t screamed in pain or cried really. He isn’t a big cryer anyways and that hasn’t changed.

It has only been 3 days with those symptoms but wondering if I just wait it out or go to GP again?
