What is the best age gap between first and second child ?

I never thought I would even be thinking about having a second child but lately I have been feeling like maybe that could be in my future god willing. What would you say the best age gap would be or how old your first was when you started trying for a second. My LO is 18 months and I’m a SAHM.

We wanted 2, but our first was so hard to conceive we weren’t sure we’d try again. 
When my son turned 2 it hit me like a truck I wanted a second, gave my husband time to think and when our son was 2.5 we started trying. We wanted them 3-4 years apart if we could. My husbands brother is 2 years younger and he felt that was a smidge too close for us. 
I am due with our second end of June so they will be 3 years 2 months apart and we’re really happy with that gap.
My son is old enough he can grab snacks, communicate with me decently and he also understands the baby is coming and seems pretty excited.

I got pregnant with my 2nd when my first was 9.5m, so they're 18m apart. Just found out I'm pregnant with #3, my 2nd is 10m, so they'll also be 18m apart.

Ours is two years 8 months, I literally couldn’t get pregnant sooner due to breastfeeding. I’ve heard waiting till baby is two to get pregnant is the healthiest for your body, it takes a while to get back in balance. Plus? HVe you heard the moms with two under two? Sounds rough, a three year old is going to give you more of a break to care for baby. My kids with around a 3 year gap play very well and are extremely close.

I didn’t have an exact age in mind, I just knew I didn’t want multiple babies in diapers. So we started trying for baby #2 when my first was successfully potty trained. They’re going to end up being just over 3 years apart when our second is born.
