Boyfriend putting the baby to sleep is distressing

My baby girl (6 months) absolutely HATES being laid down in your arms unless she’s having her bottle. She always has. The only way you can have her lay in your arms is if she’s already calm or she’s having her bottle.

She wants to be upright. She has from day 1.

But my boyfriend insists on rocking her to sleep laid down. And I can hear her crying. She hates it. She’s in distress. And I’m suffering from pp depression so even though I’m not holding her, I’m stressed the f*ck out.

I’ve asked him multiple times if I can take her. Or if he can at least rock her upright but he insists that rocking her like this works. Like yeah, sure it does but she literally screams until she falls asleep from exhaustion.

I guess I’m just venting. I can’t convince him otherwise. But I’m just so stressed out. My little girl is distressed and I know how to fix it but I’m not being listened to right now.
