Finally pregnant, 3.25 years, 2 TI cycles, about to start IVF
I was in shock for 2 days and couldn’t believe it. I’m still worried that it won’t last, but 2 betas (blood tests) with increasing numbers says it is. I have an ultrasound scheduled and I’ve made a plan of when to tell the important people in my life.
I have hypothyroidism, insulin resistant PCOS, and resulting hyperinsulemia. It took a lot of medications and weight loss (helped by the meds) to get me to a more healthy place and weight (though I was still working on losing weight and may still depending what doctors suggest).
Don’t want to claim they are miracle drugs, but the only thing I did differently the cycle I got pregnant was add CoQ10 and Ovasitol to my supplement mix and hubby took Eu Natural brand Male Conception vitamin and CoQ10 also (200mg in the morning and 200mg at night for each of us). I’m on the following prescriptions: invokamet 150/1000 mg daily, vitamin d 50,000 ui weekly, levothyroxine 175 daily. Had to stop a couple now that I’m pregnant.
Wanted to share my chart and some of the tests I obsessively took. I may have ovulation wrong because I ran out of OPKs on March 17, so I clocked it there, but it may have been the 19th based on my chart.

That dip in temp scared me, but numbers are rising correctly and I think it was just from the cold for a couple days in Florida. My progesterone was low though, so I’m on prometrium.
Also wanted to share my obsessive test taking. The first one has an extremely faint line in person, which is what started all the craziness of my Easter weekend.
Here is the day I found out through a couple days ago, estimated 15-18 dpo (but possibly 13-16):

Here is yesterday, cd 47 (likely 19 dpo, possibly 17):

It will probably still take me some time to process the fact that I ordered and paid for $3500 of
IVF meds, changed work and family plans for the cycle, got a few home remedy items to use for the process, but my period to begin never came. I got a positive pregnancy test instead. And I had written myself off as totally infertile without medical assistance, so it was that much more of a shock.
Feel free to ask questions if you have any and I’ll try to respond.
