Not the news I hoped for...

Just got back from my first appt and it wasn’t good news. Dr said it appears to be a failed twin pregnancy. Two sacs but not seeing fetal pole in one and the second looks very suspect. I have a follow up next week to recheck and see what next steps will be. We’re devastated. This is our second miscarriage in a year. I started bleeding/spotting two weeks ago but had no pain or cramping so was hoping it was just my body getting used to things.

I know we’ll get through it and we’ll keep trying but what upsets me the most is knowing I’ll never get that moment of excitement without immediately feeling the fear of something going wrong. I want that for me and my husband so badly, and right now just feeling like we’ve been robbed of that experience.

I know there are many of you out there who have experienced multiple losses and gone on to have successful pregnancies. Can you tell me your stories? It would be wonderful to focus on some hope. Thanks in advance.
