Baby christening

I’m 19 and 27 weeks pregnant and I stopped going to church almost a year ago. My mom asked me where the baby is going to be christened at and I said at the family church but just a private christening during the weekday. She said no oddly fast which bothered me because it makes it seem like she doesn’t want me to go there and be seen. My dad on the other hand is always asking when am I coming back to church and that I should go with them but my mom doesn’t want that. She told me that my boyfriend and I should go look for a church to start going to so the baby can get christened there. I’ve been going to the family church since I was in the 4th grade and I’m a sophomore in college. I grew up in that church and with the people around me. Do I have a right to feel some type of way on how my mom went about it? Is she in the wrong or right? I’m completely open to what you guys have to say.
