In-home sitters?

Michelle

Hey everyone! So-my husband and I work from home. We have four kids-ranging in age from 13years-9 months. I have been doing it all on my own the entire pandemic, while working, and I just can’t anymore. I’ve been given more responsibility at work, and desperately need help with the baby. The older kids don’t really need anything-they’re pretty self sufficient during work hours. We’re looking for someone to help, and we’d prefer in-home because there’s less possibility for COVID exposure-BUT our house is super small. We don’t have a nursery. Baby is in our bedroom, and plays in the living room area, which also is my office. I feel like the sitter, the baby and I would all just be in the tiny living room staring at each other all day-which would make it awkward, AND, I feel like the baby would just whine for me all day. So I’m leaning more towards out of the home daycare. Just wondering if any moms had any input?
