Are your children close with their grandmother's or caretaker's

Have you had a grandmother that overstepped wanted to make parenting decisions for you they wanted to take over be a mom while your just who gave birth or breastfeeds.

My mom lives with us and since my child was younger she has made comments how to cut hair, how to dress, that I should discipline with spanking, that I should cook this.

Today my child woke up he heard a noise told me he was going to check grandmother I said okay it was early.

When I went to get him from grandmother's room to take him to school get him ready our morning routine he was gone I didn't even get to say goodbye. It hurt so much like what they left without telling me anything

Each morning give a hug and kiss take to preschool

Do you think this is wrong that she took him without telling me? Or she didn't tell my child to give me a kiss hug goodbye

Did you guys allow your children to get close to others like grandmother's babysitters? I've heard of children calling there babysitters"mommy" meanwhile mom is working to provide for the household take care of child. In those situations usually the babysitter are removed.

Would you distance yourselves from the grandmother? How can you if you share a household should you change that not live together?
