Tips for flying with a 2 year old?

This is his first plane ride since he was 10 months and his first time having to wear a mask so I’m definitely nervous. Any tips from those who have flown with a 2 year old during covid?

Honestly flying with a child during the covid and before it’s exactly the same except the mask wearing. If he is not very good at wearing it, practice every day at home as much as possible. Some airlines are very strict about kids having a mask, some aren’t.

First, check to see if your airline requires him to wear one. If they do, get him used to wearing one. Make it fun: get him one with his favorite characters or colors, don’t make a fuss about wearing one yourself (put it on like it’s a game “look at you! You’re like a superhero!” “Oh wow, look how cool daddy looks in his mask, you look so cool in yours too!”).
Toddlers follow their parents, it’s not impossible to get them wearing masks the same way they wear pants or shoes. 
As far as just flying in general: download his favorite movies to a tablet, buy him books/games, bring snacks.
