Backwards babies???

Hey ladies I'm sitting here quite amused and confused at my fresh 9 month old. She has been sitting here for awhile watching Santa which is a regular movie she hasn't moved or anything her full attention is in this movie. Now if I were to turn it on cartoons she wouldn't be still to watch it for 2 minutes. She does this with food too she doesn't like baby food but love table food she love veggies despise any sugary foods. There's a longer list she just does everything rather backwards to me. Anyone else babies like this???
