should I apply to care credit or pay in full? (dumb question)

I need to take my rabbits to get spayed/neutered (they’re considered exotic animals) and the vet bill is gonna be over 1K. I thought about applying to care credit but after reading so many bad reviews about their customer service, “hidden fees”, and them fucking up your credit score, I’m kinda leaning towards paying in full. 
My husband still thinks we should apply because it’s better to pay in monthly installments rather than just paying the entire chunk of cash. I personally think the latter would be better, especially when care credit doesn’t seem to have such good reviews. We have the money, I’m just naturally an indecisive person. I’d just want to go with the most painless, wallet-friendly option. Thoughts?

If you can get it for 0% for a certain period, I think that’s fine. But if you’re paying any interest on it, I’d just pay for it.

I’ve literally had zero problems with care credit ever. Just pay your bills, and they won’t do anything to your credit 🤷🏻‍♀️ invest the money until your 0% is up, then make sure it’s all paid off because the interest rate afterwards is way up there (generally). 
The bad reviews are probably from a bunch of people that live on their credit cards and mismanage them.

Care Credit is fine as long as you pay in full for the term. Meaning, if they offer 6 months interest free, pay in 6 months. It’s when you go over that, they get you and make their money off you. That applies to all credit cards that offer an interest free period. You’ll be hard pressed to find good review on credit cards. People don’t take the time to post a review on a credit card company when they’re happy.
