3 month old hates being held by dad

Every time my husband holds my baby girl she immediately cries and screams literally until I take her back. She then almost immediately stops crying unless she’s really worked up. I’m not sure what to do.. I’ve tried having him hold one of my shirts so she’ll smell me and be comforted but it didn’t work. She is almost 4 months old! My husband said that it might be because I’m breastfeeding her and it’s time to switch to formula which I don’t want to do. I try to have him give a pumped bottle each evening but lo still just wants me.

It’s getting very frustrating, to the point of me crying and being angry at him and her. When he takes over so I can eat and bathe, just as I get in the shower, i hear LO screaming. I can’t even enjoy my break because I want to hurry so I can soothe her. She cries to sleep and then keeps waking up during her sleep to continue to cry. To make matters worse, whenever this happens, she sleeps like crap during the night and keeps waking.

Does anyone have any tips or have this happen?
