Some info for those starting or thinking of ivf

Hey y'all!! I was cleaning out some files and came across some of our old ivf paperwork. Since so many women on here ask about meds and cost I figured I would share some of our experience to help and one curious.

So here is a sample of my med calendar. There were times during the cycle I had way more meds a day and some times that was a bit less but here is a sample of part if it and what a mid average day looked like med wise.

Here is the general cost breakdown for 1 cycle through to transfer. Doesn't include all the costs as we had prior testing done and IUI's also. There was other costs too but this is the larger chunk for the main ivf. We had no help with insurance so paid 100% out of pocket for every single step. This also was just 1 transfer. Our 1st transfer didn't take so had tondo a second and that was an extra cost. So again it was more than this in the end but gives an idea at least. My meds ended up being 6900ish and that was using pharmacy discounts and searching for lowest price. Full price would have been about 8300. Med protocol can vary A TON so that price is the most unhelpful for most. Hope this helps people with questions and gives some general info
