Can i be pregnant?

So. I am on the minipill but the week of Easter I started taking antibiotics for a gum infection.  I learned later after I finished them they could cause my minipill to not work.  According to this app my highest risk of pregnancy would be  the 13th of this month so that would put me at 8 DPO.  For past 2 days I have had continuous heartburn and sore boob's and every now and then I get a weird taste in my mouth. According to Glow my next period is due in 7 days.  Can i be pregnant or is this just part of PMS? I literally never get heartburn and I can't get it to go away now even after taking tums.

My friend got pregnant with her first baby on the pill from taking antibiotics and not knowing. It can happen although you never know, could just be PMS symptoms. I'd wait a few days and test at 10 dpo. That's when my positives get dark enough to get excited over lol.

There are only 2 antibiotics that interfere with birth control and doctors almost never prescribe them to women because of that.  The mini pill in and of itself isn’t super effective though unless taken absolutely perfectly.  
If you have enough hcg to cause symptoms, you have enough to get a positive test.  If the test is negative, you’re likely having symptoms due to something else.

No way to know until you take a pregnancy test.
This app does not accurately predict your ovulation, especially when you’re on a pill that’s meant to suppress ovulation. It’s very possible that the antibiotics made your pill ineffective and you ovulated at some point during the treatment.

Heartburn, sore boobs, and a weird taste in the mouth can be pregnancy symptoms, yes, but they can also be pms symptoms or just symptoms throughout your cycle. If you do think there is a possibility you could be pregnant, I would wait a few more days and then test. As for the heartburn that won’t go away? I would recommend gaviscon. It’s a liquid and I find it helps with my heartburn way better than tums.
