Help? Bleeding 38.5 weeks pregnant

went to the hospital last night with constant contractions about 3-5 minutes apart. The pain was unreal. They made me walk around for an hour and then checked me and I'm 2cm dilated and 40% effaced so they sent me home with pain meds. I wasn't bleeding when I got home. Now roughly 8 hours later I'm having bright red blood and it's not seeming to slow down. Should I go back to the hospital?
