Nope. I had two miscarriages in the months before this pregnancy. They never even checked my progesterone. 
It could be because I had a successful first pregnancy over three years ago.

I was. I’ve had two previous miscarriages and that’s why she wanted to start me on it as soon as I got my first positive pregnancy test. Thank the lord everything is ok and I’m almost 10 weeks. 🙏🏽🌈💕🙏🏽

With my second I was simply because my numbers were slightly below where they wanted them. Carried baby to full term and he's now 3.5 years old. But first and third pregnancies, no progesterone was prescribed. It's not necessary unless numbers are low.

With my second I had spotting and just knew something was off so I went in at 5 weeks and my dr did blood work and my progesterone was low so she prescribed it but when I went in my 8 week ultrasound, I had had a missed mc around 6 weeks.
