Should I wear or not wear underwear to bed? I have a yeast infection right now

I heard that if you don't wear underwear the discharge will air it self out and I'm wondering if that's the case even with an infection, the cottage cheese discharge I get is kind of excessive. When I wear panties and leggings the discharge makes me feel uncomfortable because it gets really wet down there and the cottage cheese discharge just sits in my underwear and builds up a lot overnight and it gets smelly because of all the moisture. So I want to switch to a healthier option if possible, thanks!
