Had the best IUI nurse

I just had my last and final 3rd IUI yesterday. I went into it pretty doubtful considering I’ve never had a BFP. My last 2 IUIs seemed pretty standard, the nurse for those had been very quick and we made small talk.

This time I had a different nurse and my whole mood shifted. She was incredibly caring and had such a positive energy about her. She explained everything to me in detail, she kept checking in on me, she had me take deep breaths to relax my uterus, she commented on how ready my body looked based on my CM, how great of a stern sample it was, she shut the lights to let me relax after and when I asked what to avoid, she told me to just go about my normal life as if this didn’t happen.

I’m feeling so much better about it now than before the procedure. I wish I had this nurse all the other times! Maybe this is standard care, but I never felt so relaxed during this process.
