Braxton hicks?

Ive just recently found out these even are a thing, can someone explain to me? Im 19 weeks 4 days and i get one atleast once a week. Is this normal this early? Should i be concerned. And just a fyi i will mention this to my doc at my next appointment... before all you angrymoms come at me for asking the internet.. 🤦‍♀️

Yes it's normal Braxton-Hicks contractions feel like a tightening in your lower abdomen Unlike contractions during labor, Braxton Hicks are irregular and usually don't hurt, though they may be uncomfortable. As long as you ain't getting more then 5 per hour you are fine.

It's normal. Some women get them early on, some later, some not really at all. As long as they aren't very painful, not consistent, and you can help alleviate them by drinking water and resting you should be fine.
Still mention it to your doctor though, it's always good to let them know everything that's going on.

Typically, you start feeling them around the same time you start feeling baby.  They actually happen almost your entire pregnancy but it’s just a matter of when you feel them.

Yep totally normal in the second trimester, you'll get even more as you progress into the third. Just your uterus gearing up for the big day
