Relationship help!!??

Question

So my boyfriend told me I lack being affectionate towards him!
Ok I’m 24 I’m actually 8 weeks pregnant with his kid. But he said it was before that too
I guess my question is how can a woman be more affectionate towards her man. I’m trying here you guys. I’m learning how to communicate with him and compromise. My last relationship was nothing like this I guess because we both didn’t know how to be in one since we were so young.

It sounds like his love language might be physical touch. It’d be good for you both to take the love language test to figure out exactly what each of you want in your relationship and communicate how to give that to each other. 
My husband’s is physical touch (not just sex) but he loves hugs, hand holding, me putting my hand on his neck while he drives, playing with his hair, etc.. I just try to remember to do little touches throughout the day because I know he loves that. It’s hard and some days I do slack but I try. I’m also pregnant and don’t want to be touched so it’s hard lol.

If he said your not affectionate enough then dont ask us what he needs ask him!  I dont mean this to sound like your young and naive i swear! But thats how serious relationships work!  Ive been with my husband 8 years married 3 and two weeks ago he said something similar to me! And sometimes i feel the same towards him but at the end of the day if you think things are good n he says i feel like this is lacking you will never know how to fix it without knowing what he really wants. Just tell him you really want this relationship to work so what can i do to make sure you feel supported!  Relationships can be a real bitch but communication is the number one!!!

Whenever my man says I’m lacking in affection (which I’m not, he’s just being moody. I am affectionate AF) I will walk over to him and literally just lay down on him, squishing him

In the same way when it comes to affection, my fiancé is the type that needs love shown to them with acts of love where I show my love by doing something for you like making breakfast, organizing his dresser, etc...where he’d rather have hugs, kisses, be told “I love you” constantly. But I try to make for this lack of display of affection by cuddling at night and even if I don’t want to I make the effort to give an extra kiss or hug. Sometimes(most the time 🤣) I’m the leave me alone type but as a couple you learn to work through it and adapt to each other’s likes and needs

I think it depends on the person. My husband has to sometimes tell me when I'm slacking because to him affection is touching him, sitting next to him on the couch cuddling, having sex, just being physical. And we have 2 boys that are 3 and 1 so sometimes I just don't want to be touched or want to touch someone else lol. So I do tend to back off at times until he gives me that reminder of hey I need you. So I'd ask your boyfriend what he sees as being affectionate and how you can meet those needs.

Isn't that just your love language?? Why not ask him what you can do to help learn his love language? I mean if he wants more affection shouldn't he tell you how he wants you to be more affectionate towards him??

Unfortunately it's hard to give advice while not really  knowing  you guys. Find hout what kind of affection he likes. Is it touching, kissing, emtional attention, etc. 
Or is he simply saying this because  he wants to have more sex?. Talking more  with him and seeing what he truly  wants more from  you will help. 
The affection  my husband  likes may be different  than yours.

For me, I cook for him. Pack his lunches for work. Send him cute messages. Cuddle with him before bed. I make time to listen to him about his day, and stresses in his life (his step dad is palliative and he isn't handling it well). I encourage him to do things he likes. Etc
Now I don't do these all the time, but I I make an attempt to regularly remind him he is important, appreciated and loved. We have 5 soon to be 6 kids. I also work 2 jobs, our youngest is 10 months old, other children are virtually learning and I'm 25 weeks pregnant. It's hard at times, but it truly is the little things that mean the most. 
A back rub, a cuddle, a cute text, a reminder that they are appreciated etc. 
My hubby used to feel that way too and I've put in every ounce of effort possible to make him realize that although I am busy, tired, pregnant, annoyed lol or just lazy at times.... he still matters & so do his feelings 💕
