Taking it slow?

I’m a 26 year old female seeing a woman around my age. We have both been hurt in the past. She wants to take things slow which I completely agree with, and want to also.

But how long typically should I wait until I’m being strung along? The last girl I took it slow with never eventually wanted a relationship and just kept stringing me along with false hope. I’m scared this may happen again.

She does say things like “maybe this is it..” like we’re for each other. She wants something forever I’m assuming.

The way she looks at me too is insane as I’ve never experienced that before.
