I want to give this relationship a chance ❤️

I've decided to give this guy I've been talking to a chance. He opened up to me that he is HIV positive. After talking to people, getting some advice, and doing research I've decided I want to give this relationship a chance. He has always been nice to me and never tried to be sexual. He never asked for nudes, but pictures of what I'm doing. Like if I'm cooking he will want a picture of the food. He will let me know if he's not gonna be able to text me for a bit so I'm not overthinking. Like if he's going to therapy for and hour he will tell me. He didn't even try to initiate sex. I did when we were making out and he stopped me and told me he was HIV positive. He promised it wasn't because he was fucking around. He did tell me one day when he feels comfortable he will tell me what happened to him and how he got it but rn he doesn't feel comfortable talking about it. We haven't had sex yet and I'm fine with that. He said he's on medication and he can't transfer it to others and he offered for us to talk to his doctor. We are planning on doing that. He's such a good guy and I don't want to miss out on such an amazing guy just because of something we can avoid it we are careful!
