Thick uterus linen and bleeding at 6 weeks and 5 days

I found out I was pregnant last week. I had gush of blood yesterday, dark red. After the gush it stopped. I had prenatal appointment this morning I informed the doctor I had bleeding yesterday. They gave me a vaginal ultrasound today and my linen was too thick to see inside but she mentioned my linen has a lot of blood under it. I started to bleed during the ultrasound and again stopped after. At this point, I’m so confused. I don’t even know what I’m asking for here I just hope someone has had this experience and it ended well.
