Tips + tricks to deal with anxiety of being a new nurse.

I graduated from nursing schoin September of 2020 from a 2 year program. During school, the pandemic hit and we were unable to attend in person clinical so I didn’t even get to practice things such as listening to different lung/heart sounds. I just started my first nursing job after having a baby 8 weeks ago. I feel so inadequate and so stupid. My preceptor is so nice and encouraging but I just can’t help but think she thinks I’m not cut out to be a nurse.

I get anxiety before shifts and cry on the way home.

Is this normal? I just want to know im not alone in feeling inadequate
