Hook effect

I have seen some women worried about their tests getting lighter after 6-8 weeks. I wanted to show that hook effect is something real and happens when HCG gets super high. I stopped testing at 4w5d because my HCG was 1,454 and I had dye stealers and I knew hook effect would happen soon.

I’m now 15w4d but peed on a stick at 12 weeks to show you my results.

1st test- Not diluted

2nd test- 50% diluted with water

3rd test- 95% diluted with water

The urine with the most water has the strongest line because my HCG is so high. This begins around 6 weeks. I know it doesn’t happen to all, but most because HCG normally hits 90-150,000 by 8 weeks. Here’s my scan of a healthy baby. Hope this eases a few mommas minds ❤️
