Hcg rising after first iui after bleeding (ending in ectopic)

Anyone’s hcg continue to rise after being told you were having a chemical pregnancy?

On 4/28 I was 14dpiui and my hcg was at 13

On 4/30 my hcg was 29! I was so happy it doubled but then later that day I had brown spotting. The next day I had bleeding. I never really had cramping, nothing more than a light period. I called my office and I go in Tuesday to get blood work and a baseline ultrasound to see if we can start Clomid for

Today I have no bleeding and I decided to take a test to see if it is lighter but it is darker. I feel like it won’t be 0 by Tuesday and I’m assuming we will have to wait until my next cycle to start to do

Has anyone had this happen? What was the outcome?

UPDATE!!! 5-4-21 Had my third beta and my hcg came back at 245!!!! It’s still low for 19-20 dpo so I’m not getting too excited yet. But it’s more then doubling!

UPDATE 5/29:

My hcg continued to rise normally to about 1100. Then I started spotting and cramping. They did an ultrasound and found I was having an ectopic pregnancy in my right tube 😔. I was able to get methotrexate and didn’t need surgery. We are now in the three month waiting period until we can try again. We are still waiting for our miracle baby ❤️
