Still bleeding?

My little one is 7.5 weeks old and I still have blood tinged discharge, though not a ton. We are EBF and it doesn’t seem to be a period starting. Anyone else still bleeding at this point?

I just had my 6 week pp check up and my doctor said some woman bleed 10+ weeks sometimes. I’m bleeding as well (irregularly) and wondered the same thing. He also mentioned that breastfeeding is definitely a contributing factor to the irregular bleeding. ￼

Glad I’m not the only one! With my first my bleeding was completely done by week 3, my baby is now just over 6 weeks and it seems like if I’m more active during the day, the next day I bleed. My doctor said it’s normal, as long as I’m not filling a bad in an hour or clotting and if I am doing that I need to go in but it could be my period even though I’m breastfeeding. Mines mild and I don’t even fill a pad in a day, just more like spotting.

That's how I was with my first baby. Everything was normal. I never considered it a period
