Should I have my baby?

HELP!!! I’m 9 weeks pregnant and I’m 22 years old and I just started my career in the navy. I met this guy and we began dating and started having unprotected sex and that led to this pregnancy. The child’s father and I aren’t together anymore because I found out he was cheating on me. So now I’m trying to see what I’m going to do. If I keep the baby they are going to send me back to the states and I will be on limited duty until the baby comes and if I get an abortion I get to stay overseas and continue my career. Half of me is saying keep the baby because I just recently went for a check up and they did an ultrasound and I got to see and hear the baby heartbeat and I fell in love but the other half is saying get an abortion because you just started your career and you don’t want anything to jeopardize that. What should I do??

Well I guess I’m one of the miserable woman because unprotected sex can always lead to pregnancy and I believe in God so he creates life and only he can take life I do not believe in abortion but hey who am I to make your decision I guess in the end you got to do what’s right for you but that should’ve been something you thought about before you fell pregnant there’s always birth control but again your choice

You just asked a very tough question... one that gets people all riled up! Whatever you do, don’t be bullied to do or not to do anything. No one here is going to be there with you as you  a) deal with the physical/mental/emotional consequences that come from ending a pregnancy or b) deal with the physical/mental/emotional consequences that come from continuing a pregnancy. Folks have a lot to say about lots of things, but you’re the only one that’s going to be living your own life. I wish you all the best!

Only you can make that decision hun. 
I have friends/family who have had abortions and they have massive amounts of regret. You really need to be sure that you can live with that decision. 
The mom in me wants to tell you that while children are hard, expensive and limiting...they are one of the BEST things you’ll ever do! You’ll never wake up and say, “wow I wish I wouldn’t have done this.” 
You can still have a career and be a mom. It’s a bit more difficult, but very possible! You can do this mama!

I won't tell you what to do, but maybe these questions will help guide you through your choice:
Do you feel you have the emotional and physical support you need to raise a baby without the baby's father?
Do you have the security and financial capability to support a baby?
How important is your career to you? Is it something you have always dreamed about? Are you enjoying it? Does it make you feel fulfilled?
What are your goals for the next 5 years? 10 years? Can you meet those goals with a baby?
Remember it is your choice, you need to be at peace with whatever you choose. You are young and have so many options and great things going for you with either choice.

Do what u feel u need to do darling, it's a hard decision to make but only u can make it, whichever one u pick is right for u. Don't let some of these miserable women make it for u. Your young still and its your life, hell the Kardashians don't even have their own kids because of their lifestyle and ppl still watch and rate their show. So I say relax and make it, and move on you will gave more kids in the future when you are ready...❤ I'm still gonna be here no matter what!

I am pro choice but not for women like you who aren’t sure. I’ve met way too many women who have severe depression and trauma from aborting their babies when they didn’t completely want to. And you already had the ultrasound and said you are in love. So just think it deeply through whatever you do.

From one Military lady to another: keep the baby. 
We have so many roles to fill when we put our uniform on that it’s even more powerful when we still have the beautiful ability to become a mother. 
I understand that it will put your career on hold for 9 months. 
For me: I’ll be disqualified from flying on a 9 month waiver pretty much and will most likely have to requal a few months after birth. But I’ll be a mom, and that’s powerful AF. 
You WILL NOT loose your career. If anyone is telling you this within your command, you need to let your Equal Opportunities section know. 
I’m a flight medic and our bodies are constantly scrutinized for being fit for duty- and I’m still guaranteed a comeback.

I think you’ve answered your question to an extent. The love you feel for your baby & especially after the heart beat, is one you can’t match to any other person (only more babies). I’ve had a missed abortion, which is a miscarriage, and I’d do almost anything to have that baby again. I want all of mine, but I’m not pushing my circumstances on you. I am just telling you, the love you feel is deep & having regrets down the line may really cut much deeper. 
You must do what is best for you and your life. It’s a hard decision, but no matter what, you can either find a guardian to take over when overseas/deployed (if you choose to keep) or move forward, potentially facing your decision down the line. 
This is solely my first thought/response.
