Gender Reveal

My man really wants a son, and a gender reveal and a baby shower lol HOWEVER, I don’t want to have 2 big expensive parties. Also, due to covid he couldn’t attend the anatomy scan. My plan is to do a very intimate, romantic reveal with he and I, and just a couple of close family and friends. Literally about 10 people.

Does have any suggestions or ideas on what/where and how to reveal! I wanna do it inside, so smoke flares or bombs won’t work. I do not want to pop the balloon or shoot silly string. I want it to be really personal and designed for him alone to open while we watch! We have a daughter together and then I have a daughter and son from a previous relationship and he has his daughter from a previous relationship. He is an awesome step dad and I just want to see him at his happiest with the biggest smile. Please throw me some ideas!!!
