What are some of the reasons your Dr put you on Pregnancy Disability?

My work allows for an extra four months of leave as long as the doctor puts me on the Leave, what are some of the reasons yours put you on Preggo disability leave?

You have to have something life threatening to be given it. Like nearly die during childbirth because of preeclampsia, post hemorrhaging, etc. 
I would not wish for it. To get it is not a good thing. 😅 Your employer may allow you to use up vacation or PTO on top of your regular maternity leave to have an extended leave period, you could always check into that. However, you’d wanna save a good amount for dr appts for the baby and yourself after birth.

Oldest because of migraines around week 23 till when maternity leave started at week 37. 
Youngest because of migraines around week 14 and then Symphysis pubis dysfunction.
But here it's completely different rules and norms than in the US.

Mine was becuse my work could not accommodate my note of not lifting or pushing more than 5lb
