37 weeks and baby is breeched

At first I was worried of having a c-section mainly because of the recovery demand and I have two little ones at home. Now, after today’s doctor visit and learning my son is breeched all I’m concerned about is his well being. I googled what it meant for a baby to be breeched and how common it was and of course I stumbled upon articles stating that when babies are breeched it means they are at higher risk of being born with autism and or other birth defects. Now I’m freaking out about risk with delivery of baby not in proper position and possible defects that may be associated. Anyone have a similar experience ?
