Bleeding during sex

I was celibate for years after my divorce. Well I started dating a guy and we had sex and my vagina must hate me because I bled during it and we have 3 times more and I keep bleeding during sex and little bit after but then there’s nothing. Its not my period and he is very understanding but I’m still embarrassed and I just want to have sex without bleeding. It’s not painful at all or anything other symptoms but Im just so frustrated. I have a gyno appointment soon but man am I worried. Has anyone dealt with anything like this?
