2 LH surges in one month

Hi All!

I’m so confused as to why I had 2 LH surges on my ovulation tests this month. I came off

birth control last November and have had regular but light periods (2-3 days) since with a positive ovulation test for 2-3 days once a month around cycle days 17-22. This is the first month my husband and I have been TTC. I received a positive ovulation test two days in a row and had CM on cycle day 14 this month. I decided to keep using the ovulation strips for the rest of my cycle and I’ve had positive ovulation tests for now 4 days in a row starting last Friday. I’m supposed to start my period this week and I’ve been having terrible cramping, especially at night the last 3 days. (I used to have terrible cramping which is why I went on bc in the first place) Does anyone know what this means? Should I be worried about 2 LH surges in one month? Should I be worried about the terrible cramping at night? Help!
