IUI Catheter couldn’t make it to the uterus
Today I had my first IUI (no meds, no trigger), but the doctor could not get the catheter all the way into the uterus. She was easily able to get it through the cervix (my os was very open), but after some very painful probing, she could not get all the way. She tried for a long time using a couple of different catheters and techniques (not the tenaculum) until I couldn't take the pain anymore. She injected the sperm as far back as she could, and we called it a day.
