Signs of impending labor ?

My baby clearly dropped at 30 weeks. I had my son early. Not this early 37 weeks was 4cm at 35weeks. Should I be concerned with how low she is? I remember with my son I had him a few days after he “dropped”

I’ve read that with subsequent pregnancies babies scan drop earlier just because our ligaments and muscles aren’t as strong as before, but as long as you aren’t having other signs of labor it’s not something to be concerned about. 
Never a bad idea to at least call your doctor and chat about it though!!!

This all sounds normal for subsequent pregnancies. I walked around 4 cm dilated for a month with my second. Dilation really doesn’t mean a whole lot unless you’re in active labor.

I’m on my 3rd baby. They checked my cervix yesterday because I’m having so much pressure. She said baby is very low but cervix is closed so she’s not alarmed. I got back next week for a check and an ultrasound.
