Bleeding at 8 weeks pregnant

Hi Ladies - I need some help.

I am currently 8 weeks pregnant and have been experiencing spotting for the last 3 days. At first I wasn’t worried but then it turned darker red (no clots)

I went to hospital to get checked out and they said I had a closed cervix and no active bleeding...which I am guessing is a good thing but I don’t know.

They took some bloods and I am booked to go back for an ultrasound (this will be my first one)

I have come home and the bleeding slowed/stopped but I have just been to the toilet and it was very dark brown with what’s seems to be brown/black bits in it.

Has anyone else had this? What was your end result? I know I’m back tomorrow but I can’t help but worry.
