Toddler bed help!
My daughter is almost 21 months old and I wanted to keep her in her cot until as late as possible. She’s never ever attempted to climb out of it. She was a very late Walker so I just thought it would be a very long time until she tried to make the great escape.
Last night around 1 am she woke up so I went into her room and slept on her floor something I always do as she normally goes right back off if she see’s me. She did turn around and attempted to go back to sleep but then I could hear her jumping around again. I opened my eyes and to my shock she had one leg over the bar. She’s a a very short baby as both me and her daddy are on the small side I have no idea how her little legs could even reach that far! My main concern is we have very hard wooden flooring, it could be months until she gets the rest of herself over but if I’m not in the room when she makes her first dash and she falls it could be extremely bad! I don’t want her in a toddler bed and she will just get up and cause havoc all night. What do I do 😭.
PFA of said cot for height and stuff.
