Maybe time???

K

Better safe than sorry I guess. Prodromal labor has me feeling like such a burden.

Contractions at home started around 8:30, 8 minutes apart, got to 4-5 minutes apart from 9:30-10:30, so my OB had me come in to be monitored. Only 1cm when I got here, so we will see. I'm so ready to have this baby in my arms.

*update*

Been here for 2 hours, they said I am for sure in early labor, but since I'm only 36 weeks, they gave me a shot to try to stop labor. That didn't work, contractions are still coming about every 5 minutes. I have a history of large babies, so they did an ultrasound and baby girl is measuring 2 weeks bigger than she should. They're going to monitor for another hour and check dilation again to see if I'm progressing and need to stay or if they'll send me home.

Update again:

They came in around 3pm and told me baby would be born today. They prepped me for my c-section and within an hour, baby girl made her grand entrance. She is having some breathing trouble from being slightly premature (born at 36 weeks 2 days) so she is down the hall in the nursery getting some oxygen. They'll measure her height and weight once her breathing is more stable.
