Induction...

I am 36w2 and yesterday at my growth check baby girl was nearly 8lbs, (3rd scan of her being in the 98th percentile) so they are recommending induction. If I agree I can give them 2 different dates, one around 39w or one around 40w. I really didn’t want to be induced but I rather that than try to push out a 10lbs baby, give or take. I know u/s aren’t 100% accurate and I really really don’t want to have to get a c section unless I absolutely need to. Anyone have any advice? Should I just wait it out? I definitely don’t want to go way over my due date either. This is my first by the way.. No GD, no preeclampsia, however my bp was a little higher than my normal yesterday (nothing TOO concerning) but it’s been normal the rest of my pregnancy so the doctor is keeping an eye on it.
