What do you pack in a hospital bag?!

I am so clueless!! Watching videos and reading stuff all on google. I want to be prepared for it all now I’m stressing! Someone please give me your hospital bag list!?

I would bring 3-5 outfits for you and a go home for baby. Call your hospital and ask what they provide (not all hospitals provide stuff for you or baby!). I wish I would’ve packed my own pads and PACK BABY NAIL FILES!!! Omg. Those are never on the lists. I needed them so badly and my hospital didn’t provide them! 
Also, if you decide to bottle feed, get the same brand in pacifiers and bring those pacifiers to the hospital!

You actually don’t need that much 😊
Basic Toiletries
Nursing bras (1 or 2) if you are breastfeeding 
Underwear (but they have mesh ones there)
A couple of outfits for you 
Couple of outfits for baby 
Paperwork/insurance info
Phone charger
We bring movies but I’m not sure I will this time or just use my phone/any entertainment you might want 
Flip flops for the shower
Some people pack snacks (I have c sections and my hospital has delicious food so I personally don’t)
That’s about all I pack
My hospital actually provides a lot. Last time they had toothbrush, toothpaste, mouth wash, lotion, chapstick, sanitizer, sanitizer wipes for me. I was surprised they provided all that. They also have diapers, wipes, mesh underwear, and pads. So I’d only pack diapers and wipes if you have a long drive home from the hospital.

Nursing bra, a comfy outfit to go home in, sandals or slippers because your feet might swell a lot, shampoo, body soap, deodorant, tooth brush and tooth paste, an outfit or two for baby and snacks. That’s everything I packed and used☺️

Honestly I didn’t use half the stuff I packed 🤪
I used toiletries - shampoo, conditioner, soup and deodorant 
Maxi pads (I used adult diapers) didn’t use pads till i got home
Compression pants, breastfeeding bra and breastfeeding top and jumper (was only at the hospital for 16 hours so didn’t use all the other clothes I packed) 
Haakaa breast pump 
Hydrogel breast disks
Breast pads
My own pillow
And then babies things

A very comfy outfit for myself, toothbrush, hairbrush, contact lenses case and glasses, phone charger, going home outfit for baby, snacks for hubby, change of clothes and toothbrush for hubby, book or nintendo switch for hubby, baby book to get the footprints, and carseat.
That's it. Hospital provided everything else.
